Photo Submission Rules
Welcome to the Photo Club rules page! To make sure that it is fair and appropriate for everyone, please follow these simple guidelines when submitting your photos. Each submission must be in either JPEG, PNG, or WEBP format. Photos should be high-quality and original. We do not allow images that are plagiarized, heavily edited with filters, or include offensive content. Submissions violating these rules will be disqualified. Please make sure your photo fits one of the active monthly categories before submitting. Also, be sure to double check your file before uploading to avoid any issues. We want everyone to have a fun, positive experience, so make sure to keep it respectful.
Each participant may submit one photo per category. All entries must include a title and a short description of the photograph. Submissions without descriptions will NOT be accepted. Keep your image content appropriate for all ages and communities. By submitting your photo, you agree that Photo Club can display your work on our site and social media platforms with proper credit. Please follow these guidelines to maintain the integrity and spirit of the club. If your photo doesn’t follow the rules, it will be removed. Make sure your photo is clear, and try your best to show effort in both the photo and description.
Photography Categories
Nature
The Nature category celebrates the beauty of the nature in the world. Whether it's landscapes, forests, oceans, or wild animals, we want to see the planet through your camera. This category allows photographers to explore the outdoors and present the beauty our environment. All submissions should capture pictures from the outdoors without editing. Lighting, composition, and timing play a crucial role in creating a captivating nature shot. Go outside, explore your surroundings, and bring the world to life through your camera! You can take pictures at parks, hiking trails, or even your own backyard. Just focus on capturing a real moment that feels alive.
Food
The Food category is all about creativity on a plate. Whether you are showing your cooking skills or an dish from your favorite restaurant, this category highlights the art behind food photography. It’s all about the presentation, colors, and emotions that good food has. Show us how a simple dish can become a beautuail art through photography. This is your chance to make viewers taste the flavors just by looking at your photo. Try taking your photos in natural lighting and avoid too many filters and editing. Focus on making your food look real, appetizing, and creative through your camera.
Sports
Capture the adrenaline, movement, and emotion of sports in the Sports category. From high school games to professional matches or even a casual game at your local park, this category showcases the energy of athletes in action. Whether it's a powerful dunk, a goal celebration, or a emotional moment from the players. Get creative with your photos, and let your photos reflect the beauty and joy of the game. Sports photography is about timing and emotion, so try to snap the perfect moment with multiple shots. It could be a big win, a funny fail, or anything that tells a story.
